This Privacy Policy explains how "The Bridge" mobile application (the "App") handles information. The App is developed and provided by Exponential Dog ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

The App is designed to work without requiring you to create an account or sign in.

Information you provide:

• Player names — Names you enter for players in a game session are stored only on your device and are used solely to personalize gameplay (e.g., showing whose turn it is).
• Custom cards — Sentences or "cards" you create using the "My Cards" feature are stored only on your device.
• Game history — Stories generated during gameplay are saved locally on your device so you can revisit them later.

None of the information above is transmitted to us or to any server. It remains on your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.

Information collected automatically:

We do not operate our own analytics or tracking systems. However, the App uses third-party services (described below) that may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information, in order to display advertisements.

2. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

If you purchase "Remove Ads", the App will stop requesting and showing ads from AdMob.

3. Permissions

The App requests the following device permission:

• Network State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — used only to check whether your device has an active internet connection, for example before attempting to load an advertisement. It does not allow us to access your browsing activity or any personal data.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Player names, custom cards, and game history are stored locally on your device using a local database. This data is never uploaded to us. You can remove all of this data at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.

6. Data Security

Because the App does not transmit your personal gameplay data to any server, the security of that information depends on the security of your own device. We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.

7. Your Choices

• You can change the App's language and other preferences from the in-app Settings screen.
• You can purchase "Remove Ads" to stop interstitial advertisements.
• You can delete all locally stored data (player names, custom cards, history) by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App from your device.
• You can manage ad personalization settings for your device through your Google account or device settings.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
